SECC In-House Coach

Mike Cauley

We’re thrilled to continue offering the expertise of Mike Cauley as our in-house executive coach here at SECC. With over 40 years of leadership experience—including 15 years as a pastor and 23 years as a conference president—Mike brings a deep passion for developing transformational leaders. He holds a Doctorate in Executive Leadership with a focus on systemic coaching and is credentialed by the International Coaching Federation. Through our in-house coaching program, all assessments are fully covered, and you have the opportunity to book Mike for one-on-one leadership coaching or team coaching with your staff to elevate your ministry and strengthen your leadership impact. Mike’s sessions are designed to help you gain clarity, build alignment, and reach your highest potential.

Tim Bathurst

MDiv
Tim Bathurst is a certified Spiritual Director and full-time Associate Pastor with over 30 years of ministry experience. He holds an MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary, as well as a coaching certificate from By Design Coaching (2025). Tim provides a safe, sacred, and confidential space to explore how God is present and working in your life.

Erik Carter holds a certification in Spiritual Direction from Denver Seminary. He has spent 25 years in spiritual care, initially in pastoral ministry and later as a professor of spirituality at LLU. He is happy to support you in your relationship with God in a confidential and safe environment.

Diane Brewster

Masters
Diane Brewster, ACC, holds a Master’s in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and brings deep, cross-industry experience supporting veterans and leaders through growth and transition. A certified coach through UC Davis and trained Stephen Minister, Diane blends spiritual sensitivity with structured guidance. Her sessions often incorporate VIA Values Assessments to align strengths with purpose. Whether in leadership or everyday life, Diane creates a safe, grace-filled space for meaningful personal and professional transformation.

Karen Cress

Karen Cress has her masters in Organizational Leadership and her doctorate in Strategic Leadership and Foresight. She has pastored for 21 years and worked as a conference administrator (SCC) for 11 years. Her main focus at Culture Shift is consulting. She has a certification in Clifton Strengths by Gallup since 2020, and uses the assessment in her sessions.

She has pastored and worked in administration in Oregon Conference for 25 years. She has a lot of experience as youth/children and families' pastor. Jana offers PXT and 360 Feedback assessments.

Seth Yelorda has spent the past 20 years in leadership as a pastor and is currently a consultant and speaker for Vision Clarity 360. In addition to his MDiv and MBA he has his MA in Organizational Leadership. He has certifications in Leadership Profile Circle, MBTI, DISC, SDI, and Positive Intelligence. Seth also offers assessments in Leadership 360 and PQ saboteur.
